Is there a cost to me to become a Candidate with your company?
No. There is no fee to you the
candidate for registering with our agency at any time.
What is the salary range for the positions you place?
Nanny
The minimum salary for a full-time
nanny position will be $500 and for Part-time, $12 per hour. Most positions will be between
$500-1,000 weekly, depending on the credentials and experience of the candidate.
Baby Nurse
All of our represented Baby Nurses set their own rate when
they register with us. When speaking with a prospective client, we
communicate that daily rate to them directly. In general, we find that for
a single baby, the daily rate is $300-400 with the average being $350, and
for twins the daily rate is $450-500 per day.
We are very firm in our commitment to placing
our candidates with loving employers & families who respect and appreciate
a professional, qualified childcare provider in their home. Our standards
are known to be higher than most, therefore, we often place our candidates in many of the best positions.
What benefits are
offered by families?

decide which benefits they are offering in their position. We require
the standard benefits which are listed below. Any additional benefits are
offered at the client's discretion.

For Live-In
positions, what are the accommodations available?
At a minimum, Live-In candidates will have a separate
bedroom and bathroom. Often, many families have additional living arrangements such as a
separate floor or wing, guest house, apartment or suite. We encourage clients to provide a
private telephone line for personal use, a television, VCR and answering machine. Many
clients also provide use of a computer for their staff.
How long of a
commitment do I need to make to a position?
For Full-Time or Part-Time
positions, a one-year commitment needs to be made. In the lives of children, consistency,
routine and trust are extremely important and in order to develop that type of
relationship with the children you care for, a personal commitment needs to be made to the
job. We do place Nannies for Temporary or Summer Nanny positions but in order to be
considered for a short-term referral, you would need to apply as a Temporary Nanny only.
With the time and effort that we place into each referral, we hope that the Family/Nanny
relationship becomes a long-term one with mutual trust and admiration.
Where do you place your
Candidates?
Though the
majority of our clients are from California, we do place our candidates wherever there is
a need from a client for a professional candidate. Typically, we place
candidates with families who have come to us for our high standards of
excellence and for the type of placements we represent. We do not place candidates who are hired through a
"telephone interview." Each candidate must be available to meet with the family
in person. Most families will "fly you out" for an interview if there is
a strong interest in you and you have both spoken on the telephone and are
ready to pursue the opportunity further.
What type of
support do you offer your Candidates?
One of the main
benefits you will receive from a placement through us is the exceptional support system we
offer our candidates. We are by your side from the initial phone call. We follow-up with
you from the start of your position, organize socials on a regular basis to meet other
candidates and network and are only a phone call away from any questions or assistance you
may need. If any issue or concern arises during your tenure, we will mediate and attempt
to work with both you and the family to resolve and discuss a solution. We feel that
communication is the key to success and the more of it you do, the better you will feel.
We want our candidates to feel as if they are members of a large "family" of
friends who will be there whenever needed to assist you.
