Who are your Nannies?

The California Nanny Company only places professional Nanny who have a minimum of two years
professional Nanny experience
in a private home. In addition, all candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Legal to work in the United States
     
  • Be CPR/First Aid certified
     
  • Have a valid U.S. driver's license
     
  • Be willing to make a minimum of a one-year commitment to a new position
     
  • Be a high school graduate (75% of our Nannies have a B.A. or some college)

    What our Professional Nanny will do for your home and family

    Please note:   Our Nannies are trained to do the following tasks, though, duties and responsibilities are always discussed with the parents and may be altered to fit each position's unique needs
     
  • Full or Part-time childcare
     
  • Transport children to and from school and all activities
     
  • Provide order and tidiness to the children's bedrooms, bathroom & playroom
     
  • Launder all children's clothing
     
  • Tidy or assist children (depending on age of the child) in the organization and cleaning of their room
     
  • Oversees school schedules, vacations, extra-curricular activities and play-dates
     
  • Plans nutritious and balanced menus for children
     
  • Prepares all meals and tidy kitchen after use
     
  • Assists with bathing and dressing
     
  • Conducts regular meetings with parents to discuss the children
     
  • Packs and prepares children's clothing and belongings for family holidays
     
  • Organizes children's book, video and toy collections
     
  • Teaches children basic manners and etiquette as agreed upon with the parents
     
  • Assists school-aged children with homework
     
  • Provides a loving, safe and structured environment for the emotional, mental and educational growth of the children
     

What is the salary range for a Professional Nanny?

The Nanny salary will depend on a number of different circumstances which include the number of years of professional nanny experience the Nanny has,  the educational background of the Nanny and the specifics of a particular position. For a Full-time position, the salary range generally starts from $500 per week and goes on up. For a Part-time position, the salary range is $12 per hour and up.

We strongly encourage you to submit your application as far in advance as possible in order to give us the time we need to locate, screen and refer prospective candidates to for your position. One large difference between us and other companies is that we do not send out every candidate we have in our registry to every client as each individual candidate and client have unique needs and not every person will fit those needs. Our general placement process can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks, depending on your position, location and requirements.
